Basingstoke Town Football Club Community Coaches Troy Weston, Glenn Braley and Gideon Vallance are providing a central hub from within the club for disabled football in the Basingstoke & Deane borough. Thanks to funding from The National League Trust and Short Breaks, sessions are run on a weekly basis for players with a wide range of disabilities in a fun, safe learning environment. Sessions are structured and are a mix of individual and cooperative footballing tasks and games. Training support for the coaching staff from partners will include a number of the clubs Academy players as part of their education programme – more information on The National League Trust can be found on their website.
